Men & Boys 1

As an out gay man, I enjoy photographing other men. The term “boys” in this context refers to young men in their twenties who like to see themselves as gay lads. You can even come across men in their late thirties-early forties on Gaydar who still call themselves boys.

The trouble is, photographing men – especially nude men - can be problematic. There’s a long tradition of painting and photographing women, but not men. It's very difficult to take erotic pictures of men that don’t fall into cliché or cheesecake. Non-erotic pictures present their own problems. Here’s a few of mine that I like – mostly of friends. If naked male bums offend you, then better give this section a miss – but there are only a few and all in the best possible taste.
