The Photographs

These are arranged in loose categories that I hope to update now and again. Hard A3 copies of any of the prints on the site are available at prices between £20 and £30 that hopefully won't break the bank.  All prints are inkjet on either Epson Archival Matte or Bockingford A3+ paper. You can either have prints unmounted, or block mounted and heat-sealed on MDF.

The life of Inkjet prints

There has been considerable discussion as to whether or not inkjets prints are prone to fading. In the early days, there were problems with some Epson papers and certainly with some 'compatible' inks. My own tests indicate that both the Epson archival Matt and Bockingford papers exposed to full daylight - and frequent sunlight every day in a south-facing window for over 2 months - remain unaffected using standard Epson dye-based inks. I have also discovered that atmospheric pollution can be more damaging than sunlight. For example, an unmounted print pinned to a kitchen wall soon discolours. It is advisable therefore to display inkjet prints either under glass, or heat sealed, and as a precaution to hang them out of direct sunlight.
